What I wish to highlight and felt note worthy to elaborate on this project:
- The reuse of old fittings, OEM and refitted with new LED light source.
- The combination of old fitting and high quality LEDs have to complement the interior design and still have to comply with airport safety and emergency regulations.
- The open minded and willingness for the end user in the above. I assume much time would be spent by the project manager/team to understand many lighting technical details and official regulations.
- The indepth understanding of the lighting designer and supplier on lighting technology and original design manufacture capability.
Summary:
With the aligned mindset of the end user, lighting designer and supplier, great things happen. I personally think that if the entire team in Singapore (end user, consultants, contractors, suppliers) can have such willingness to this together, the whole build construction industry will certainly grow much faster and better!
