Aether House is a French restaurant and cultural wine house located in the heart of Singapore’s central business district. As the space takes on a Parisian vibe, the passionate team is looking to create an unforgettable wine & dine experience within a chic yet cozy environment. 

The interior design comes with pastel pink walls, olive green leather seats, and complements of wooden fixtures, but nothing would be complete without the right ceiling decor: lighting. 

Our goal as lighting professionals is to ensure that all lighting is aligned with the brand guidelines, maintaining the Parisian aesthetics, and achieving the right mood and ambiance at all times of the day. 

We start by imagining the eventual final interior architecture with the right lighting ambiance. Next, we are aware of how different times of the day will result in a different feel for the restaurant. 

With the convenience offered by tunable white color-changing ceiling lights as the main lighting, every patron can feel the restaurant being at its best at all times of the day. The right lighting aims to accentuate the various interior architectural elements (i.e arches and mosaic tile floor); creating a complete upmarket dining experience in a chic Parisian Aether House

A feature we love most was the beautiful archway that connects the dining area to the wine appreciation room. A magical experience is when you cross the archway. With the right lighting concept applied on both sides of the restaurant, it transports a person from a well-lit dining space to an underground private wine cellar. 

Keeping the ceiling minimalist, we used round lighting to match the overall interior space, making the ceiling profile complete! As France is known for being a designer country, several uniquely designed pendant lights enhance the space aesthetically, transforming the restaurant into a true Parisian cafe. Special weaving techniques are used to create various colors and textures on every individual shade in this distinctive designer pendant light.
